MYG Nyte at SAS is like what we used to do in Jr. High once a quarter or so with a dance in the cafeteria, sports in the gym, etc. It's "gym" spelled backwards and is a time for students to socialize in a structured setting. I volunteered to chaperone this first one, and it was fun, though exhausting and very muggy outside.
The kids did a scavenger hunt, went to activity stations (mine was "candy bobbing" - see pics), and had a BBQ w/ music for dancing. This time, french fries, no hash browns with the burgers and hot dogs. :)
